BACKGROUND:
The Westwind Stewardship Group (WSG) was formed in 2004 to steward in perpetuity, 529 acres situated on the central Oregon coast, at the mouth of the Salmon River, south of Cascade Head.
We exist in order to conserve this ecosystem, to create educational experiences for individuals and groups, and to provide facilities for a wide range of activities: the 10-week YWCA Summer Camp, an outdoor school, environmental groups, tribal youth gatherings, as well as nonprofit workshops and retreats. Through its site and programs, WSG nurtures solitude and individual connection to the natural world and seeks to inspire more balanced and sustainable living.
Over the years the physical infrastructure has grown to include a historic lodge, learning center, 15 rustic cabins, and a 10 acre farm with barn and pasture.
WSG values wildness, connection to place, stewardship, and diversity.

The Westwind Stewardship Group is seeking an experienced, self-directed and motivated Executive Director with a passion for protecting a pristine environment as well as the ability to inspire, learn from and teach others about the magic and the bio-diversity that abounds here.
